Flat bread with Sambal tumis ikan bilis

Our breakfast this morning.
Sambal tumis ikan bilis & flat bread.

Flat bread in action. It's puffed while on the pan.
I jot down d ingredients for my future reference. Buat main agak2 je ;)
- 1 tsp dried yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup of fresh milk & warm water mixture
- 1 1/3 cup of flour
- a pinch of salth
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tbs water roux
Make about 6, depending on size.

Masak2: Lempeng kelapa aka tempek nyiok dan sambal sardin


Sabtu 6 Feb 2010 ...
Dah lama tak makan tempek nyiok (lempeng kelapa).. lama sesangat! Since kelapa ada dlm fridge, aku pun bancuh le tepung utk buat tempek ni..

Bahan2 sgt simple:
Tepung gandum about 1 1/2 cawan
Kelapa parut dlm 1/2 cawan
Garam
Susu cair dlm 1/4 cawan (optional)
Air
Bancuh adunan & masak atas kuali rata
Aku makan tempek ni dgn sambal sardin yg simple je..

Saturday cooks: Pan Roti, sambal sardin with telur & sambal tumis sotong

Semlam utk breakfast aku buat ni.. tak tau apa nama benda ni.. tp resepi similar to roti. Cumanya aku tak bakar dlm oven.. aku bakar atas pan..
Bahan2 biasa je.. tak sukatpun, main agak2 je..
Tepung gandum about 3 cawan + 1/2 sudu besar bread improver, yis segera about 5 gm (dibancuh dgn 1/2 cwn air suam & 1/2 sudu besar gula).. 1/4 cawan susu full cream, garam dan air secukupnya. Campur semua dan uli.. bahagi kepada 16 biji.. rehatkan 20-30 minit. Lepas tu canai kan bentuk bulat sebesar saiz roti canai.. masak atas lightly buttered pan.. sekeping amik masa dlm 3 minit utk masak.

Memang lembut roti ni.. tambah best bila berteman dgn kopi o kampung kaw!

Dhill's cooking: Ubi kayu rebus with sambal ikan bilis

Petang ahad lepas, after jogging sikit kat klcc- kami pegi chow kit. Cari barang dapur - then hubby suggest beli ubi kayu utk breakfast on Monday.. ini le hasilnya.. Ubi kayu tu tak elok sgt.. klu lembut lagi sure lagi best!
